Classes
BIC provides free Citizenship and English for Speakers of Other Languages classes in a variety of formats including small groups, individual sessions, video classes and in certain cases, home visits. Classes meet once or twice per week and are tailored to meet the individual needs of students. Hours are flexible to accommodate student work schedules.
Citizenship Classes
Citizenship classes prepare students for their Naturalization interview. Classes focus on interview skills, U.S history and government and basic English reading and writing.
English for Speakers of Other Languages Classes
BIC offers Beginning ESOL classes for those students who want to apply for citizenship, but have little or no English skills. Classes focus on basic grammar and vocabulary development, conversational skills, alphabet and numeracy and responding to personal questions.
